This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile and web app named Labour Attendance Book.

Information the app stores

Labour Attendance Book is designed as an attendance, labour record, and payment register. The app may store information that you enter, import, or generate inside the app, including:

• employee or labour names, phone numbers, employee codes, roles, teams, wage details, and active/inactive status;
• date-wise attendance records, present/absent/half-day/leave status, overtime, notes, and source labels;
• advance, salary payment, balance payment, bonus, deduction, and related payment notes;
• biometric/device mapping IDs and imported punch/device log information, if you choose to enter or import those details;
• local app settings such as company/site identifier, integration token, workday hours, and overtime settings;
• a local PIN lock record used to protect access to the app on the same device.

How information is used

The information is used only to provide app features such as attendance entry, employee records, payment tracking, reports, backup export/import, device punch import, and local PIN locking.

Local storage and backups

The current version of the app stores attendance and employee data locally on your device or browser storage. The app does not create an online account and does not automatically upload your attendance records to the app developer's server.

If you use export, backup, copy, import, or share features, you control where those files go. Backup or report files may contain employee, attendance, and payment information, so you should store and share them carefully.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal or sensitive data. The app does not automatically share your employee, attendance, or payment records with third parties. Data may be shared only when you choose to export, copy, back up, restore, send, or otherwise share files outside the app.

Permissions and device access

The Android app may use file picker, storage, or download-related access so that you can import backups and save reports or backup files. These permissions are used for app functionality and not for advertising or tracking.

Security

The app includes a local PIN lock. The PIN is stored as a hash, not as plain text. Because app data is stored locally, the security of your device, browser profile, backups, and exported files is important. Use a secure device lock and keep backup files private.

Data retention and deletion

Data stays on your device until you delete it, clear browser/app storage, uninstall the app, replace the data by importing another backup, or delete exported backup/report files yourself. Because the current version does not create a cloud account, there is no remote account deletion process for the app developer to perform.

Children

Labour Attendance Book is intended for business/workplace attendance management. It is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
